Order types

In Einstein II VMS, you can create and manage the following types of orders:

  • There may be restrictions on the types of orders you can create, based on your Organization's configuration.
  • Long-Term Assignment (LTA/L): used to hire staff for long-term assignments within the specific region, location, and department.
  • LTA - Rapid Response (LR): used to hire staff for long-term assignments within a specific region, location, and department as part of a Rapid Response need for expedited procurement and onboarding.
  • Contract To Perm (C): used to hire staff for temporary employment with the possibility of a permanent position offer after the trial period. The order workflow is identical to LTA.
  • Open Per Diem (O): used to create a pool of Candidates (who first need to go through the same onboarding process as in LTA orders)  to be quickly onboarded to re-orders (one-day shifts.) Candidates are paid by the day in this order type.
  • Perm.Placement (P): used to hire staff for long-term, full-time employment. This order type does not have an end date and bill rates, and the salary is measured by the annual amount.

Local / Non-Local orders

If the Proximity Type configuration is turned ON for your Organization, you can select the desired proximity of Candidates to the order's location. This means that only the Candidates with the specified proximity will be matched to the order.

  • Proximity Type can be applied only to LTA, LTA - Rapid Response, and Contract to Perm orders, as it affects the bill rates to be used.

To do this, when creating an order, from the Proximity Type field, choose the necessary option (Hide the imageSee the image):

  • All: Candidates' proximity will not be considered for the order.
  • Local Only: Only the Candidates with a proximity that falls within the defined local range will be considered for the order. For such Candidates, the Regular Local bill rates are applied.
  • Non-Local Only: Only the Candidates with a proximity that does not fall within the defined local range will be considered for the order. For such Candidates, the Regular bill rates are applied.
  • In the Order Management grid, orders with the Local Only proximity are marked with an additional L next to their type abbreviation: L-L, LR-L, and C-L, respectively. Hide the imageSee the image. Orders with the Non-Local Only proximity are marked with an additional N next to their type abbreviation: L-N, LR-N, and C-N, respectively.
